Workflow

Workflow is designed using the simple graphical drag-and-drop interface, which allows elements to be easily added, deleted and rearranged.

What is a Workflow?

A workflow is a series of activities that must be carried out in a specific sequence to accomplish a set organizational objective.

Designing a simple workflow

  1. Drag and drop the Start event from the palette.

  2. Under the General Tab in the column to the right of workflow, change the name in the Step Name field. Enter the name as Leave Requested.

  3. Drag and drop the Create Task icon. Name it Check Leave Balance. Click on the create task icon and click wrench and chose User Task

  4. Add an End Event .Name it Leave Approved.

  5. Click on the Start event and choose Connect Arrow to connect the Start event to Create Task. Similarly, you can connect Create Task to End Task.
