# Configuring Workflow Elements

You can give name for each step and assign it to a user or group.

## Adding Step Name

1. Click on the start event.
2. On the right side, enter **Step Name** and **Step Label** in the General tab.

**Note:** Step Name should not contain any blank spaces or special characters.

## Response tab

1. Under **Response Tab**, you can choose the button you want to display in the form for the initiator.
2. Choose **Submit** from the **Step Response field.**
3. Click on submit to change the **Response properties.**
4. Enable comments to make comments about the response mandatory for the initiator.

## Add-on tab

By default, the user can view attachment, comments and history of the form.

You can deselect to hide it for the user in any step.
