## What is a Process?

A Process is a set of logically related tasks performed to achieve a defined business objective. It provides a conceptual basis for the integration and coordination of distributed resources, tasks, and individuals. Therefore, effective management of processes is critical to the development as well as sustainment of any organizational capabilities.
